
India’s leading e-tailer Tata CLiQ has joined forces with globally-known American tech major Adobe.
The e-tailer will use Adobe’s ‘Experience Cloud’ solutions that will enable it to deliver personalised, relevant and impeccable digital shopping experience to its customers on its website and mobile application.
Talking about their association with Adobe, Tata CLiQ CEO Ashutosh Pandey stated, “A strong digital strategy has been central to our focus on being appealing to high-end customers and delivering exceptional online experiences for them. Adobe is not a vendor or a product company to us but a partner in our journey.”
Importantly, even as ‘masstige’ brands remain the key business driver, a substantial part of Tata CLiQ’s growth comes from the luxury segment, he told. The company’s rapid rise in the country’s increasingly competitive online fashion and apparel space can be attributed to its exclusive specialisation in this (luxury) category.
Further, more and more Indian consumers today are getting inclined to shop online, underscored Sauvik Banerjjee, CTO, Tata CLliQ and VP, Digital, Tata Industries, while explaining the significance of improving digital shopping experience, “Our brand remains committed to leveraging the industry’s best technology innovations to deliver standout digital experiences for our customers across India.”
Noticeably, this is not the first time that the e-tailer has collaborated with the tech major – it already has deployed an array of solutions within its Experience Cloud, including Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target. And the move has helped to shore up its business growth and affinity among users.
The company has been working with Adobe to implement a digital strategy to obtain a competitive advantage, as per Banerjjee, who as well apprised, “With Adobe Experience Cloud, our conversion rates have seen an uplift of 40 per cent, and operational costs significantly declined.”
