Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M)-owned luxury fashion brand Cos, which offers reinvented classics and wardrobe essentials for women, men and children, will open a new flagship in the UK.
“It is pleasure for us to introduce our first Cos standalone store in the North West,” stated Cos, Sam Miller, Head of Expansion at H&M Group. The proposed 5,700 sq. ft. store will be located at the Liverpool One Shopping Centre.
The retailer will convert a former warehouse to make its new flagship store which will open its doors next month. The store will share the location with other retailers such as Flannels and Harvey Nichols.
Liverpool One, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has become the most preferred location among retailers to enter the North West, notably. Last year, it witnessed the opening of regional flagships of Ben Sherman and Guess brands.
In addition to this, Cos will also open its first store in Brisbane and overall seventh in Australia later this year.
Markedly, Cos reported a 3 per cent increase in sales growth and an annual footfall of around 29 million last year. The popular fashion brand is known for its contemporary and functional clothing by making use of classic, simple silhouettes and more trend-driven colours and patterns.
