
Gymshark has announced the launch of its first-ever footwear collection through a collaboration with UK performance footwear brand R.A.D.
The limited-edition line features R.A.D’s ONE V2 and R-1 models, redesigned in Gymshark’s muted colour palette. The collection will be available globally from 10th September via gymshark.com.
The move marks Gymshark’s entry into the footwear category after years of demand from its community, while also representing R.A.D’s largest collaboration to date.
Founded in 2022, R.A.D has built a strong following across the UK and US fitness communities, thanks to its high-performance training footwear engineered by former Nike and adidas designers. Its debut product, the R.A.D ONE, sold out within minutes of release.
Gymshark founder and CEO Ben Francis said the launch of footwear completed the brand’s gym offering. He explained that Gymshark had committed to being a “gym brand” with the launch of its We Do Gym campaign last year but had yet to provide a complete wardrobe. He added that the collaboration was a natural choice, as R.A.D’s designs combined strong performance credentials with style, which he believed would resonate both inside and outside the gym.
R.A.D founder Ben Massey described the collaboration as a milestone for his company. He said it was a “pinch-me moment” to see the Gymshark logo on R.A.D footwear and noted that the partnership represented the coming together of an underdog brand with one of the biggest names in the global gymwear sector.
