
GoPro, American action camera giant, has expanded into lifestyle product category like clothing, accessories and bags.
The newly launched offering will be available on GoPro.com.
The prices of apparels start with US $ 24.99 (approximately Rs. 1,800), backpacks starting at US $ 19.99 (approximately Rs. 1,500) and sunglasses and water bottles starting at US $ 29.99 (approximately Rs. 2,100).
“GoPro has been focused on helping people pursue active lifestyles since day 1, and our expansion into categories like bags, apparel and ultra-functional accessories stays true to that,” said Nicholas Woodman founder and CEO.
He further revealed a 30 per cent discount on all its product categories for the GoPro PLUS subscribers.
The signature line of GoPro bags will be launched first and then the clothes and other products. The wide range of bags includes a day tripper specially designed for the travellers. Priced at US $ 99.99 (approximately Rs. 7,400), it features a padded storage for laptop and other gears.
The other offerings include a 2-in-1 duffel backpack, Mission, which suits the need of rough and tough adventures and is priced at US $ 99.99 (approximately Rs. 7,400).
Apart from these tough bags, the brand has introduced sling Casey and Casey LITE (US $ 49.99, approximately Rs. 3,700) which can also be used as a waist pack to store GoPro accessories.
Casey features a padded construction with a soft tricot lining and is priced at US $ 49.99 (approximately Rs. 3,700), while lite is a travel-friendly and has a customisable padded construction priced at US $ 19.99 (approximately Rs. 1,500).
Furthermore, the Storm Dry is a lightweight waterproof bag suitable for hiking and other adventure and is priced at US $ 99.99 (approximately Rs. 7,400). Also, Stash, a flexible fast-loading roll top bag is priced at US $ 69.99 (approximately Rs. 5,200).
