A significant participant in the fashion business, the G-III Apparel Group, has declared raising its stake in All We Wear Group (AWWG) to 19 per cent. According to a June 2024 agreement, the previous ownership position was 12 per cent.
AWWG is a well-known global brand marketplace with headquarters in Madrid, Spain. It is the owner of Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable. The company, which is owned by M1 Group, L Catterton, and creator Carlos Ortega, brings in over $650 million annually from its 3,500 points of sale spread over 86 nations. Thanks to this collaboration, AWWG is now the authorised representative for DKNY, Donna Karan, and Karl Lagerfeld in Spain and Portugal.
G-III wants to grow as much as possible in Europe. G-III also wants to grow its major brands, DKNY leading the way, by leveraging AWWG’s substantial presence in India.
G-III chairman and chief executive officer Morris Goldfarb said: “We are pleased to expand our investment in AWWG and strongly believe this partnership is another growth opportunity for our business. This transaction reinforces our strategic priorities and we look forward to further developing our relationship with AWWG and its talented team, as we accelerate our collective businesses.”
