E-commerce company Flipkart has expanded its leadership team and appointed Sharayu Jadhav as Vice President – Legal and Varun Gupta as Vice President – Corporate Development.
Jadhav in her new position will manage legal operations for Flipkart marketplace, supply, chain, data privacy, technology law, labor and employment.
She returns to the company after leadership roles at Acko and Razorpay. During her earlier stint at Flipkart, she handled legal responsibilities for its wholesale division and Myntra, and held multiple positions within the group, including Senior Director–Legal, Head of Legal for Myntra and Jabong, Director–Legal, Associate Director, and Senior Manager.
Similarly Gupta joins Flipkart from Reliance, where he managed corporate development and equity capital initiatives. He has nearly two decades of experience in corporate development and investment banking. At Flipkart, Gupta will direct strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and the company’s early-stage investment arm, Flipkart Ventures.
The Walmart-backed firm has been actively strengthening its leadership bench as it prepares for its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
As part of this, the company appointed Somnath Das as Vice President of Supply Chain and named Yogita Shanbhag Vice President of Human Resources and Vipin Kapooria Vice President of Business Finance in February.
The company also announced the hiring of Amer Hussain as Vice President, Supply Chain, for its Grocery and Minutes (rapid commerce) businesses, Jason Chappel as Vice President, Flipkart Group Controller, and Jane Duke as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (CECO) for the group in January 2026.
