New York-based fashion label, Rag & Bone has announced the appointment of Robert Geller as the head of menswear design.
Geller, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate, started his fashion career at Marc Jacobs and Cloak. His collection launched in 2007 was widely recognised, including the GQ Best New Menswear Designer Award in 2009. His Fall 2024 collection for Rag & Bone will debut during the men’s market in New York and Paris starting 17th January.
Geller replaces Kyle Sweeney, Rag & Bone’s interim senior vice president of men’s design and merchandising. This transition follows the departure of Marcus Wainwright, the brand’s co-founder and chief brand officer, in July. Rag & Bone’s Chairman, Andrew Rosen, expressed excitement about Geller’s creative vision guiding the brand into a new chapter.
“From its inception, I have been a fan of Rag & Bone and its menswear which is rooted in quality and authenticity. I also believe that our customer wants to look his best without having to compromise on comfort,” Geller stated.
Geller, who joined the team in September 2023, is recognised for his commitment to quality and authenticity, aligning with Rag & Bone’s ethos. The brand, founded in 2002, recently expanded with store openings in Miami, Scottsdale, Charlotte, and Nashville, now totaling 36 stores in the US and the UK, with a global presence in over 53 countries.
