
As everyone welcomes the onset of spring and only begins to realize that summer is merely a few weeks away, fashion brand Forever 21 ceases the opportunity to drop a swimwear collection for plus-size women that is as youthful as it is affordable. While the brand has never been the one to shy away from catering to bigger sizes, this will be their first endeavour to tap onto the plus-size swimwear segment.

The collection that has an underlying bohemian chic feel to it consists of high waist two-piece sets with tropical prints and fringes; swimsuits with catchy slogans like “not your bae” as well as mesh cut-outs and crocheted cover-ups. Forever 21 claims that the collection is carefully designed to fit well on every body type and comes with ample support for bust coverage
The size range that runs from 1X to 3XD is larger than Nike’s sportswear collection that was launched earlier this month… And what is even better is that all the pieces are under US $ 30. Apart from Nike and Forever 21, multi-brand luxury retailer, Neiman Marcus is also trying its hands at catering to plus-sizes, which comes at a much-needed time when retail is losing grip over its consumers and desperately needs a new strategy in order to sustain itself.
