
After the return to normalcy, following the pandemic menace, Eid shopping in Bangladesh has gathered pace and in all probability could surpass the pre-pandemic levels.
Media reports maintained this citing various brands and retailers as people continue to throng shopping malls to finish shopping before Eid.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Managing Director of retail clothing brand SaRa Lifestyle, SM Khaled, reportedly, maintained the demand from all segments of customers is high this time around and sales in SaRa’s all outlets have been tremendous.
“…sales have risen almost five times compared to the pre-pandemic Eid-ul-Fitr,” reportedly, claimed the MD of SaRa even as Chief Executive Officer Aaron (lifestyle brand) Mohammad Ashraful Alam, reportedly, claimed people from all income groups were buying this shopping season.
He also expressed hopes that sales of Aarong, which has 25 outlets, will surpass the pre-pandemic Eid-ul-Fitr sales of 2019 by more than 40 per cent.
