Dutch start-up PTTRNS, which helps fashion businesses digitise and better understand consumer needs, has secured € 2 million in seed funding from ECFG.
The Eindhoven-based company’s AI-powered personalisation and 3D visualisation platform generates photorealistic images based on design patterns and uses AI to understand consumer behaviour and desires.
This enables brands to present digitalised images directly to customers, providing advice to boost consumer confidence during the purchasing process.
The funding will be used to expand its platform and customer base internationally, with PTTRNS hoping to use its solutions to help fashion companies become more sustainable and increase profitability.
“We are thrilled to have raised this funding and to be able to continue our mission of revolutionising the fashion industry,” said Marco van Herpen, Founder and Managing Director of PTTRNS.ai. “By using AI-powered personalisation and 3D visualisation techniques, we can help fashion companies become more sustainable while also increasing their bottom line.”
Founded in 2019 by Marco van Herpen, PTTRNS is focused on accelerating the digital personalisation of the fashion industry.
“PTTRNS.ai has developed a truly unique solution that addresses a real need in the necessary transition of the fashion industry,” said Ruben Baijens, Investment Director and Partner of ECFG, adding, “We believe in the company’s vision, its experienced senior management team and the commitment to their feasible development roadmap. We are excited to be part of the growth of PTTRNS.ai within the fashion industry.”
