Kumar will assume charge in his new role on April 1, 2018. He will look after Lifestyle and Home Centre businesses.
Kumar’s predecessor Kabir Lumba will enact a new role. In his new responsibilities, Kabir will look after Max Fashion as CEO and Director – Landmark Group (Middle East), effective May 1, 2018, mentioned a statement issued by the Group.
Lifestyle International successfully placed itself on the list of well-known retail companies in India under Kabir’s leadership. He headed the Lifestyle and Home Centre businesses for 14 long years.
In another development, the Group has appointed Shital Mehta as the Executive Director and CEO of Max Retail Division, effective April 1, 2018. However, Mehta will become a part of the India operations of the company by January 2018.
Shital is known for his long association with Aditya Birla Group in India where he played a crucial role in building and expanding the leading menswear brands.
