Kolkata-based Dollar Industries Limited achieved growth of 29 per cent in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year and 7 per cent in FY21.
Total revenue of the company for Q4 FY21 was Rs. 310.44, as against Rs. 240.52 earned during the same period last year.
For the whole year, Dollar Industries Limited earned Rs. 1,040.43 crore as compared to Rs. 971.81 crore for the same period of the last year.
The profit after tax (PAT) of the company for the fourth quarter stood at Rs. 19.44 crore, while it was Rs. 12.31 crore for the same period in the previous year.
For FY21, PAT was Rs. 87.51 crore compared to Rs. 58.89 crore for the same period a year before.
Happy with the results, Vinod Kumar Gupta, MD of the company commented, “This growth is despite that the company was not operational for 45 days in the year due to lockdown. This year has been overshadowed by the coronavirus where the economy is hit, but the company reported a positive revenue growth.”
He added “The raw-material prices stabilised a bit this quarter before showing uncertainty in prices again. The company is poised to grow and continue its growth journey.”
The company claims to have 15 per cent of the total market share in the organised segment.
