There is a new Head at the Delhi office of TMS Fashion with Hardeep Singh recently joining the company as General Manager, replacing Monica Narula. TMS Group, headquartered in Beijing (China), has its sourcing operations spread across Hong Kong, Bangladesh and India.
Till November 2012, TMS had a regional office in Chennai, headed by Fritz Schurr, which has since closed down. The Delhi office is sourcing luxurious shirts, blouses and T-shirts, hand embroidery, co-ordinates in chiffon, cotton and other fine fabrics for brands like Esprit, Gaastra and Massimodutti.
TMS Group catering to the European and the US markets was founded by Frank Fleischer in Hong Kong in 1987. Frank has made TMS the most modern fashion agency in Asia. With a very personal approach to sourcing Frank knows everyone in his supply chain: the fabric suppliers, the clothing manufacturers, the workshops for sewing, embroidering and weaving, the subcontractors and delivery firms, in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India and Bangladesh.
For the past 20 years, Frank has been living in Asia and working in fashion, interacting closely with the consumers in Europe and the USA, well aware of the collection cycles of the various countries. Today, 350 people in five countries are working for TMS with Beijing as its meeting place for its clients and designers where they can see and experience what TMS brings together: the collections from its production countries, extra service and intercultural cooperation.
