The Delhi Government is set to launch ‘Delhi Bazaar,’ a virtual marketplace that will feature popular stores and attractions from the city’s bustling markets, with the goal of enticing visitors from around the world to explore and shop. The Government also announced plans to enhance and beautify other markets across the city to further stimulate business growth.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who attended the ‘Chandni Chowk Shopping Festival’ at Rangpuri as the chief guest, unveiled the ambitious project. Organised jointly by Chandni Chowk’s traders and the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI), the event showcased a diverse range of shops, from clothing boutiques to delectable eateries.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Kejriwal emphasised the Government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, saying, “Our Government is pro-business and pro-industry. We have made numerous efforts to eliminate red tape and promote business growth. Our plan is to beautify other markets in Delhi, similar to Chandni Chowk so that more people visit them and business flourishes.”
‘Delhi Bazaar’ is set to be a user-friendly online platform where visitors can virtually explore and shop at the city’s famed markets, beginning with the iconic Chandni Chowk. This initiative aims to provide global exposure to Delhi’s signature markets and promote them as vibrant hubs of commerce and culture.
