Crew Clothing Company has expanded its roster of brand ambassadors by signing one of Britain’s top tennis players, Jodie Burrage, who is currently ranked 84th globally.
Burrage will serve as a Crew Clothing ambassador, wearing the brand’s apparel off-court “as she travels the world and relaxes between tournaments.”
The retailer stated that selecting the five-time ITF singles titleholder was “a natural collaboration that reflects both Crew and Jodie’s shared enthusiasm for tennis, the coast, and representing the best of British sport.” Burrage joins three-time Wimbledon Doubles Champion Neal Skupski in the ambassadorial lineup.
Naomi Parry, Head of Marketing for Crew Clothing, commented, “[Jodie’s] a fantastic athlete. She’s one to watch, but not only that – she’s very much aligned with our values.”
Last year, Crew highlighted that sports sponsorship and associations were a “significant driver” for the business. As a result, they appointed global sports, entertainment, and culture agency Octagon to support their expanding sponsorship portfolio.
Over the years, Crew Clothing has invested heavily in its sports partnerships, hosting pop-ups at events, launching exclusive content on its website, and creating new collections. This includes a Williams Racing F1 licensed collection, a bespoke occasionwear package for Henley Royal Regatta, and a technical golf range to enhance its sponsorship of the Legends Tour.
