Cole Haan has partnered with HiMaxx, a leading Chinese retailer, to strengthen its presence in China. The partnership will see HiMaxx launch a premium-branded division dedicated to Cole Haan, aiming to expand its retail footprint across the region.
Jason Hou, co-founder and board member of HiMaxx, will lead the new division. He will oversee operations of more than 30 existing Cole Haan stores in Hong Kong and Mainland China and implement plans to scale the brand’s presence further.
“We are pleased with our selection of HiMaxx to drive our business forward,” said Jack Boys, CEO of Cole Haan, highlighting HiMaxx’s proven success in China.
Founded in 2017, HiMaxx is known for its expertise in multi-brand retailing, specialising in footwear, apparel, and accessories. This partnership aligns with Cole Haan’s premium offerings, including innovations like the OriginalGrand 2.0 with Skyweave technology, which caters to China’s growing demand for high-quality footwear.
HiMaxx CEO David Wang emphasised the strategic value of this collaboration, stating it adds a significant dimension to HiMaxx’s multi-channel strategy and enhances the consumer experience in China.
