
Chico’s FAS Inc., a leading omni-channel specialty retailer of women’s clothing, has appointed Diane Ellis as the President of its brand with effect from November 1, 2016. Ellis will oversee all business activities for Chico’s.
Speaking on the appointment Shelley Broader, President and CEO, Chico’s FAS said, “Ellis is a seasoned leader who has proven time and again that she is one of the most strategic business and brand builder in retail. She brings merchandising, marketing and operational expertise. Besides she also has a strong passion for our customers.”
With more than 35 years of retail experience Ellis previously served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at The Limited, and was instrumental in driving the strategy behind the company’s growth and business transformation over the past three years. She also worked at Brooks Brothers as President and CEO.

US-based Chico’s operates four brands – Chico’s, White House, Soma, Black Market and Boston Proper. The company has around 1,557 women’s clothing stores in the US and Canada, and also sells merchandise through franchise locations in Mexico.
