Luxury fashion label Celine has opened a pop-up store at Plaza 66 shopping centre in Shanghai’s upmarket shopping district. The brand announced the pop-up on its Instagram handle, giving patrons a look into the pop-up store.
The store has been designed by creative director Hedi Slimane, who is also the mind behind the interiors of flagship stores in Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Madrid, Milan and London.
The pop-up store can be found on the first floor of the shopping mall, based on a palette of black, gold, grey and white. These colours give a rich and opulent feel to the store, an aesthetic that complements the brand image.
The use of glass and metal elements for displays and wooden chairs for decoration give it a classy and sophisticated aura.
Housing Celine’s select range of perfumes and fragrances, the store will also offer a wide array of leather goods and accessories for Celine’s female consumers to choose from.
The LVMH-owned fashion house was founded by Celine Vipiani in 1945 and became a part of LVMH in 1996. It currently operates around 150 retail stores across the world and distributes products through a selected network.
