Carter’s, Inc., a branded marketer of apparel for babies and young children in North America, has announced that Brian Lynch, President and Chief Operating Officer, will retire effective 1st March 2024.
Kendra Krugman, who is presently serving as the Chief Merchandising Officer and Executive Vice President for Retail, will advance to the position of Senior Executive Vice President for Creative and Growth on 1st March.
In her new position, Krugman will work with the leadership team to find development possibilities as well as lead the teams responsible for product design, merchandising, and retail. Since joining Carter’s in 2007, Krugman has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company’s exclusive brands, which are sold at Target, Walmart, and Amazon, among other big stores.
Richard Westenberger, who presently holds the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will advance to Senior Executive Vice President and become the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer concurrently.
Apart from supervising finance, IT, real estate, and corporate risk management, Westenberger will now take charge of the supply chain operations of the business. Since joining Carter’s in 2009, he has played a key role in overseeing many important organisational initiatives.
