
Indian sports and athleisure wear brand Campus Activewear Ltd. has announced the elevation of Rajneesh Sharma as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
In his new role, Sharma will oversee the company’s overall technology strategy, digital innovation, and IT infrastructure development. He will also play a key role in strengthening Campus Activewear’s digital-first capabilities, streamlining system efficiency, and supporting its rapid retail and omnichannel expansion across India.
Sharma shared news of his appointment on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm for the new role and his continued association with the company. He stated that he was delighted to begin his journey as Chief Technology Officer at Campus Activewear.
With more than 25 years of experience in technology-led business growth, Sharma has an extensive background in IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology enablement.
Prior to this elevation, Sharma served as Vice President – Information Technology at Campus Activewear from September 2023 to October 2025 and earlier as Head of Information Technology from April 2021 to September 2023. Before joining Campus Activewear, he held the position of Chief Information Officer at DLF Brands Ltd., where he led major IT and digital transformation projects. He also spent nearly nine years with ITC Limited’s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, where he contributed to several strategic technology initiatives.
Campus Activewear currently operates nearly 300 exclusive brand outlets and maintains a pan-India presence through a network of over 23,000 multi-branded retail stores and 1,300 large-format retail counters. The company continues to expand its footprint, combining innovation and accessibility to strengthen its leadership in India’s growing athleisure and sportswear segment.
