
Burberry, the UK-based fashion label, will also make protection gear amidst this Coronavirus crisis.
The fashion brand is retooling its trench-coat factory in Yorkshire to manufacture non-surgical gowns and masks.
These non-surgical gowns and masks will made for the patients suffering from COVID-19 and is subject to approval from Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, better known as MHRA.
Besides, the fashion label will leverage its current supply chain so as to help deliver these masks and gowns for COVID-19 patients and hospital staff in the UK.
Come April and Burberry plans to fund research into a single-dose vaccine (for the virus) developed by the University of Oxford with human trials.
Also, the fashion label has pledged to donate to charities that tackle food poverty all across the nation.
