Stripe & Stare, the British underwear brand, has secured fresh funding of £2.5 million from BGF and a consortium of investors.
The women’s underwear label has said that it would use the funding to enhance its workforce and capacity at its Devon headquarters to drive sales across the UK and globally.
Elated over the funding, Nicola Piercy, Co-founder, Stripe & Stare, said that with focus on long-term, minority investment and experience of building successful e-commerce business, BGF were the right partners to take Stripe & Stare to the next stage of growth.
Here it is important to mention that the underwear brand grew its revenue by 100 per cent a year for the last 3 years – driven by consumers’ shift to buy online for more eco-friendly fashion options.
2021 had also seen Stripe & Stare unveil world’s maiden 100 per cent biodegradable lace underwear collection.
Founded in 2017, Stripe & Stare is known for selling underwear, loungewear and sleepwear that’s made from Modal, which is a bio-based fabric produced in Austria from beechwood trees.
