
Luxury brand Bottega Veneta has announced the appointment of British designer Louise Trotter as its new Creative Director. Trotter’s joining is announced as the former director, Matthieu Blazy, departed for French luxury brand Chanel.
Prior to this, Trotter was a part of Carven and is known for her contemporary aesthetic and strong design sensibility the newly appointed creative director is expected to bring a fresh perspective to Bottega Veneta.
She has worked with global brands like Lacoste, Joseph, and Gap, which has equipped her with a deep understanding of the global fashion landscape.
As Trotter transitions to Bottega Veneta, the fashion industry is abuzz with speculation about her successor at Carven. The French heritage house has seen a resurgence under Trotter’s creative direction, and it will be interesting to see who will be chosen to carry on her legacy.
