Bonkers Corner, the streetwear apparel brand, is aggressively expanding its presence across India, opening its newest store in Hyderabad’s Sarath City Capital Mall. This 2,662 square foot location signifies a key step in the brand’s ambitious growth strategy, which includes plans to launch 10 additional exclusive brand outlets in the near future.
Shubham Gupta, founder of Bonkers Corner, expressed the brand’s excitement about bringing its streetwear culture to Hyderabad, a city that had been on their radar for some time. Gupta emphasised the brand’s commitment to making high-quality, design-forward streetwear accessible to the Indian market. He envisions the stores as more than just retail spaces, but as community hubs where people can connect, express themselves, and embrace their individuality. This latest opening, he added, is just the beginning of the brand’s nationwide expansion.
The Hyderabad store showcases Bonkers Corner’s complete collection of streetwear apparel, targeting Gen Z and millennial consumers. To celebrate the opening and drive sales across its network, the brand launched a promotion offering a flat 20 per cent discount on purchases exceeding Rs 3,499 at all 13 physical locations. The store also highlights Bonkers Corner’s collaborative collections, including the popular ‘Looney Tunes x Bonkers Corner’ line.
Since its launch in 2020 as a primarily digital brand, Bonkers Corner has maintained a strong online presence through its direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform. However, the brand’s focus is clearly shifting towards aggressive brick-and-mortar expansion, demonstrating its commitment to connecting with a wider audience and solidifying its position in the rapidly growing Indian streetwear market. The company plans to continue its expansion across India, offering its distinctive style of men’s and women’s casual western wear.
