Bombay Shirt Company, a formal clothing and tailoring firm, has expanded its retail presence in the Mumbai suburb by opening its latest store in the Seawoods district of Navi Mumbai, marking 20 years since it first opened a physical location.
“A lot of the people who shop at the seven stores we already have in Mumbai reside in Navi Mumbai,” said Bombay Shirt Company’s founder and CEO Akshay Narvekar. “We hope the new layout of the store is something that works well for the customer by minimising visual clutter and helping them make an informed purchase based on their needs.”
The store’s contemporary layout features an area where customers may order custom clothing and places a focus on its shirts and fitted apparel. The brand’s new collection of tailored blazers, together with T-shirts, button-down shirts and trousers, is available at its new store in Navi Mumbai.
According to its Facebook page, Bombay Shirt Company launched a store in New Delhi in February of this year. The brand has outlets in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Gurugram.
The Bombay Shirt Company was founded in 2012 and specialises in creating personalised men’s clothing. The brand sells its merchandise both through its DTC web site, which ships internationally, and its pan-Indian stores.
