German sports label Bogner has announced the opening of its first standalone store in the UK, in partnership with activity company The Bergladen Group.
The Bogner store, which spans five floors and is located in the heart of London’s Mayfair neighbourhood, houses a selected range of seasonal styles, featuring a choice of clothes and accessories for both on and off the mountain.
Along with this, the facility will house customization and private shopping options, as well as exclusive collections available only at the store.
In a release, the chief executive officer of Bogner, Gerrit Schneider, said, “We are delighted to announce the global expansion of Bogner, with the opening of our flagship store in London’s prestigious Mayfair district.”
Bogner is continuing its international expansion aspirations, having recently opened new locations in New York and Los Angeles following a succession of successful short-term and pop-up stores in both cities.
The company has grown in recent years while the ski and apparel industries have remained stable in otherwise tumultuous times.
In the US, in particular, Bogner said it had gained a “new image and prestige customers”, while focusing its expansion on “more urban points of sales” and ski resorts.
