
Danish fashion retailer Bestseller A/S has reported a successful financial year, celebrating its 50th anniversary with significant increases in both turnover and profit.
For the 2024-25 financial year, which concluded on 31st July, the parent company of brands such as Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, and Only achieved a turnover of approximately US $ 5.9 billion, reflecting a 7% rise compared to the previous year. Earnings also saw notable growth, with profit before tax increasing by 10% to approximately US $ 900 million, and net profit rising by 16% to nearly US $ 710 million.
Owner and CEO Anders Holch Povlsen described the year as “special,” acknowledging the milestone achieved since the opening of the first store in 1975. He expressed satisfaction with the results despite ongoing challenges in the fashion industry, emphasising the need for continued effort in the coming years.
The company’s performance underscores its resilience and strategic initiatives, positioning Bestseller A/S for sustained growth in the competitive global fashion market.
