
The Boohoo Group has announced that it has raised the baselines salaries of its 4 executive directors as well as 5 non-executive directors in the financial year to 28 February.
Notably, the baseline salaries of Group’s founders Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane have been hiked by 3.5 per cent to £450,000.
The salary of Group’s CEO John Lyttle has got a rise of 3.7 per cent to reach £615,000. Neil Catto, currently CFO at Boohoo Group, too saw the base salary go up from £294,833 to £300,000.
The bonuses did not change compared to what it was last year. However, the Group has, reportedly, added that it will link bonuses of executive directors to its environmental, social and governance improvements.
Meanwhile, the Group has also increased the baseline salaries of 5 non-executive directors, with the total number touching £277,051 at a rise of 8 per cent.
The individual salaries, as per media reports, for the non-executive directors are in the range of £60,000 to £126,859. It is worth noting that the non-executive directors did not receive any bonuses this year too.
Boohoo, ever since getting entangled in the human rights’ violation controversy last year, has been initiating lot of efforts to bring significant improvement in workers’ rights.
