Actor Barkha Singh has joined women’s footwear startup Nuvah as chief creative officer, marking her entry into entrepreneurship. She will work with founder and CEO Avni Jain on product design, brand communication, visual storytelling and creative strategy.
In her new role, Singh will contribute to product development and brand positioning, drawing on her interest in fashion and global trends to inform designs for Indian consumers.
Singh has experience in brand promotions and marketing, having worked as a youth brand manager at Adidas Originals and a youth ambassador for Luxottica’s Vogue Eyewear.

Founded in 2026, Nuvah is an online-first women’s footwear brand focused on combining design with comfort. Its product offerings include a proprietary Steady-Form footbed and patent-pending Style-Switch technology, which allows consumers to change heels to create different looks from a single pair.
The collaboration will combine Singh’s creative inputs with Jain’s product-led approach as Nuvah develops its footwear portfolio. The company has not disclosed details of its funding, revenue or retail expansion plans.
