
Evaly, the Bangladesh e-commerce platform that has been mired in controversy not so long ago on account of alleged malpractices, has been recently asked by Bangladesh to abstain from selling its different digital items, including voucher, wallet, gift card, cash voucher, etc., even as the Government warned of stern legal action otherwise.

Reports further added the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) issued an order to Evaly recently to follow the existing policy properly and discontinue the sale of digital products even if issuance, use, sale and purchase of such things without prior approval of the country’s central bank-Bangladesh Bank are reportedly prohibited as per the existing policy.
