Even as Bangladesh Government has started refunding e-commerce customers whose money are stuck with payment gateways even if there have been reports of some hurdles being faced in this direction, the Government has asked the Bangladesh Bank, which is the central bank of the country, to take action against different payment gateways for their non-cooperation regarding making payments to e-commerce companies.

Reports further added the Commerce Ministry recently issued a letter to the central bank in this connection, asking concerned authorities to investigate the current activities and non-cooperation of the gateways, like Nagad, shurjoPay and aamarPay, etc., regarding payments to the e-commerce companies.
