Banana Club, a men’s fast fashion brand, has announced plans to significantly expand its retail footprint across India, targeting 50 stores by the end of 2026. The company currently operates 17 outlets and is positioning this expansion as a key pillar of its long-term growth strategy.
The upcoming store launches are expected to strengthen the brand’s market presence while reinforcing its evolving positioning in an increasingly competitive retail landscape. Alongside its physical expansion, Banana Club continues to invest in an omnichannel strategy, integrating its brick-and-mortar network with its direct-to-consumer website, mobile application, and presence across major online marketplaces nationwide.
Founded by Neel Bafna and Prashant Lalwani, the brand began as an offline-first venture in Bengaluru and has since gained traction for its trend-driven menswear offerings. Within just two and a half years of operations, Banana Club has achieved an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs. 150 crore (US $ 16.23 million) and is now aiming to double this to Rs. 300 crore (US $ 32.46 million) by 2027.
Commenting on the expansion, co-founder Neel Bafna stated that the company was built with a shared vision to disrupt the menswear segment. He noted that the current operating model provides the agility required to open 33 additional stores while maintaining design integrity and sustaining customer appeal.
Co-founder Prashant Lalwani said that the company views business as both meaningful and engaging, adding that reaching 17 operational stores marks an important milestone. He described the expansion to 50 stores as a step towards taking the brand’s “purpose with play” philosophy across India, while emphasising a continued focus on understanding evolving consumer needs and market trends to create relevant brand experiences.
As part of its expansion strategy, Banana Club plans to focus on both Metro and Tier-1 cities, aiming to make its menswear offerings more accessible and affordable. The move is expected to enhance the brand’s nationwide presence while ensuring a consistent and elevated customer experience across locations.
