
Baazar Style Retail Ltd has reported a net loss of US $ 1.06 million for the quarter ending September 30, 2024, improving from a net loss of US $ 1.77 million in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue surged by 65 per cent, reaching US $ 36.85 million compared to US $ 22.27 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
During the July-September quarter, Baazar Style Retail added 18 new stores across India, bringing its total store count to 184 as of September 2024. The retailer aims to expand further by deepening its presence in core markets and developing new clusters in focus regions.
Private labels continue to play a significant role in the company’s growth, contributing 49 per cent of total sales in H1 FY ’25, up from the previous year. The retailer plans to differentiate itself by improving product quality and increasing control over private label offerings.
