In collaboration with Arts Thread, a digital platform designed to connect design institutions, students and industry, Avery Dennison Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) has launched a competition, based on the theme Future of Denim Branding. The participants will be tasked to design the branding for a five-pocket jean by integrating design creativity. The entrants would be judged by experts from denim brands like Calvin Klein, Levi’s and Karl Lagerfeld, as well as fashion forecast experts like The Stranded Sailors and WGSN. Garment branding can have a significant impact on consumer’s perception and purchase intent. The motive of this competition is to help change the way the industry thinks about denim branding and set a new standard.
