In collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov, Asics, the renowned Japanese sportswear giant has unveiled a new unisex clothing line named Asics Novalis. This sub-brand will be available for purchase at select retailers, including Dover Street Market.
The inaugural collection of Asics Novalis is set to make its debut at Paris Fashion Week in October and will subsequently be made available at esteemed luxury retailers. The collection will encompass a range of exquisite pieces, such as nylon parka jackets priced at US $520, bomber jackets priced at US $420, and water-repellent cargo trousers retailing at US $260, as revealed by the brand.
Having initially collaborated with Kiko Kostadinov on a sneaker project shortly after his graduation from Central Saint Martins in 2017, Asics gained credibility as one of the pioneering performance-running brands to venture into the fashion and streetwear realm. As the London-based designer’s reputation as an emerging menswear talent soared, Asics recognised the opportunity to offer consumers a distinct experience.
In Kostadinov’s own words, “The current market is saturated with intense hiking and outdoor-oriented products. With Novalis, our focus is on delivering more understated offerings, deviating from the mainstream and offering something different.”
