Arvind Fashions has appointed Rohith Kumar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This strategic appointment is intended to bolster the company’s HR leadership and support its organizational growth initiatives.
Kumar brings over a decade of HR leadership experience, with a strong focus on the retail sector. His expertise encompasses talent acquisition, career development, organizational growth, and management. His previous roles include Chief People Officer at Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd, Head of Human Resources at Landmark Group – SPAR India (Max Hypermarket India Pvt Limited) for three years, and Head of Retail HR at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd for ten years.
Kumar holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from VLB Janakiammal College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, and an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Alliance Business School, Bangalore.
Arvind Fashions, which manages prominent brands such as US Polo Assn., Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Flying Machine, and Arrow, is committed to leveraging technology to enhance its operations and market competitiveness. Arvind Fashions recently reported a significant increase in consolidated net profit, reaching US $ 5.87 million (Rs 51.08 crore) for the December quarter of FY ’24, driven in part by gains from the sale of its Sephora business.
