Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd (ALBL), the wholly-owned material subsidiary of Arvind Fashions, has invested around Rs 50 crore in Arvind Youth Brands Pvt Ltd (AYBPL), which operates the casualwear brand Flying Machine, through a subscription to equity shares, according to Arvind Fashions.
According to a regulatory filing, ALBL subscribed to 1,82,21,574 equity shares of AYBPL, each having a face value of Rs 10, at an issue price of Rs 27.44 per share.
Following the investment, ALBL’s stake in AYBPL will increase to 65.91% from 60.40%. Arvind Fashions, which directly holds the remaining equity in AYBPL, will see its direct shareholding reduced to 34.09 % from 39.60 %.
The company said the combined group holding in AYBPL will remain at 100%, with no change in the overall control of the company.
AYBPL was incorporated on February 27, 2020, and is engaged in the wholesale and retail business of apparel and accessories under the Flying Machine brand in India.
AYBPL reported a turnover of Rs 404.75 crore (US $ 42.10 million) in 2025-26, compared with Rs 432.16 crore (US $ 44.95 million) in 2024-25 and Rs 458.24 crore (US $ 47.66 million) in 2023-24.
