As the demand for branded items develops in non-metro places, the international fashion and retail business Apparel Group’s India subsidiary has lately launched a selection of global brands to India’s Tier-2 cities. The company has opened its first Aldo accessory store in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun.
“We are excited to present the opening of Aldo’s latest store at Mall of Dehradun,” announced Apparel Group India on Facebook, sharing photos of the new store. “This is the brand’s second store in Dehradun and the 68th store in India.”
In the Mall of Dehradun, Apparel Group India has also erected a Bath & Body Works personal care store and a Beverly Hills Polo Club clothing store. Whereas the latter stores a variety of body care, fragrance, and personal care products, the former sells men’s and women’s western clothing with polo-inspired designs.
“We’re committed to expanding our presence in Tier-2 cities, capitalising on the growing market and increasing brand awareness,” said Apparel Group India’s CEO Abhishek Bajpai. “Our focus is on delivering exceptional shopping experiences and building lasting relationships with customers in these regions.”
Apparel Group India recently established Beverly Hills Polo Club, Bath & Body Works, and R&B stores in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, within the Swagat Holiday Mall. The mall’s operator, Swagat Group, states that it is situated in Gandhinagar’s Sargasan area and serves customers from both Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
