Andie, the renowned US-based DTC swimwear brand, has, reportedly, raised US $ 18.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Marcy Venture Partners.
The Series B funding will help the swimwear label in expanding globally in addition to enhancing its omnichannel distribution.
The brand also said that it has plans to expand its team of executives, besides adding more products to its current selection.
There’s no better than time than now for the brand to make its expansion plans work out, as 2021 saw Andie grow by 100 per cent year-over-year (Y-o-Y). In Australia alone, the Y-o-Y growth has been a phenomenal 500 per cent.
Back in 2020 also, Andie had raised US $ 6.5 million in a Series A funding round that had helped it enhance its all-women staff and add new product lines. Series A funding was then led by CityRock Venture Partners, Trail Mix Ventures and other investors.
Andie was launched in 2017 and has since been known for well-made and well-cut swim suits that are also trendy and comfortable.
