US fashion retailer Neiman Marcus had something to offer for its associates on Mother’s Day!
The clothing retailer, reportedly, announced new paid family leave benefits for all its employees, working full or part time.
The retail stalwart has offered 16 weeks of paid leave for anyone welcoming a child, including through surrogacy, adoption or foster care – and all with effect from 1 January this year.
Besides, it offers up to 24 weeks of paid maternity leave for expecting mothers.
Notably, all those who are employed with the retailer for at least a year can use US $ 3,000 for adoption – so as to ease legal or medical expenses.
Come 1 August and the retailer’s new policy will also offer two weeks of paid leave to take care of child, spouse, partner, parent or any other family member. This is as per the Family Medical Leave Act.
Founded in 1907, Neiman Marcus is currently owned by a group of investment companies led by Davidson Kempner Capital Management, Sixth Street Partners and Pacific Investment Management.
