
ThirdLove, the American lingerie brand, has just completed its maiden acquisition!
The US DTC fashion brand has snapped up the intimates brand Kit Undergarments and relaunched it as Kit Undergarments for ThirdLove. The relaunched brand will be available at the website of ThirdLove.
The brand hasn’t, reportedly, revealed the price at which the acquisition was made.
More on the launch, Heidi Zak, Co-founder and CEO, ThirdLove, said that instead of leveraging its team’s time and effort on creating a new brand from scratch, the solution was to find an incredible existing brand that it could scale through the backing of ThirdLove.
The acquisition aims at expanding ThirdLove’s reach to youth, with lower price points. Notably, Kit Undergarments’ prices range from US $ 18 to US $ 55, which is lower than some of ThirdLove’s products.
While Kit Undergarments will be completely integrated into ThirdLove’s operations, its founders will, reportedly, be a part of the ThirdLove’s leadership team.
ThirdLove was founded in 2013, and is known for marketing body positivity and offering size-inclusive bras and half-cup sizes. It produces bras in 78 different sizes.
