
Prime Day, the flagship event of the e-retailer Amazon, yielded favourable results for it. The e-retailer reported two-fold increase in business during its much-hyped business event that concluded recently.
More than 200 brands, including Marks & Spencer and New Balance, were exclusively launched and other deals were offered to Prime members during the Prime Day, the flagship event of Amazon.
The e-retailer described Prime Day as an opportunity to offer best deals and exclusive selection to its Prime members. The e-retailer also reported surge in Prime subscription, majorly from Tier II and other non-metro locations.
In addition to trade growth for Amazon, Prime Day also helped small and medium sized businesses to report 240 per cent increase in growth, while startups reported six-fold increase as compared to average in June.
