Fit specialist Alvanon is all set to introduce a technical fit mannequin that correctly imitates the fit of lingerie and swimwear, as on real women. Created to achieve a consistent fit for women by designers, manufacturers and retailers, the Intimate/Swim Form is 15% softer than the standard ones, accurately approximating the softness of the human body. The mannequin also ensures uniform fit dimensions at every step of the supply chain, which has previously been a hassle, resultantly minimizing the repetition of samples and the costs pertaining to human models. Available in full torso style, with a widened crotch to create top and bottoms, the form sizes range from the regular 34-36, B and C cup. The form is priced at US $ 1,675 plus shipping duties and will be unveiled at Sourcing at Magic in Las Vegas.
