Los Angeles-based clothing brand Alo Yoga plans to open a new 7,018-square-foot store in Manchester.
The Manchester store is also Alo Yoga’s first UK store outside of London, having opened its initial site at King’s Road in November 2023, followed by a 10,000-square-foot flagship at Regent Street and another at Brompton Road in August 2024, and one at Neal Street in Covent Garden in December 2024.
Welcoming Alo Yoga to New Cathedral Street highlights its standing as one of the UK’s premier retail locations, according to Steve Grey, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual.
Manchester’s robust demographics and vibrant culture make it an ideal location for expanding brands as the demand for high-end lifestyle brands outside of London continues to develop.
