Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, India’s leading fashion retail house, is reportedly planning to acquire 49 per cent stake in Bestseller India. The Denmark-based company is known for providing fashion clothing and accessories for women, men, teenagers and children.
The Danish brands owns fashion brands like Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, and Only. If reports are to be believed then Aditya Birla Fashion has offered good valuations for the deal. Bestseller has given affirmative answer about the reported development while Aditya Birla Fashion is yet to make any comment on this.
“Our pan-India presence over the last two years has increased and we hope to bring in more brands to the market in the years ahead,” told Vineet Gautam, Chief Executive of Bestseller India to a leading daily.

Talks with Bestseller are part of Aditya Birla Fashion’s strategy to enhance its portfolio of international brands, as the company seeks to cater to the changing taste of the urban consumer.
