Sportswear giant Adidas has partnered with British designer Stella McCartney to create its first away kit and travel range for the Arsenal Women’s football team. The exclusive eight-piece assortment caters to both on-field and casual wear, encompassing items like jerseys, shorts, zip-up jackets, track-style pants, and oversized tees. Central to the line is the Aeroready technology integrated into the away shirt, utilizing anti-moisture and absorbent materials. This new away kit will be introduced during the Arsenal versus Manchester United match on 6th October, marking a significant moment as the women’s team will have a distinct kit from the men.
Adidas proudly discloses their use of at least 47 per cent recycled polyester and 100 per cent organic cotton, aligning with the brand’s commitment to combat plastic waste.
Stella McCartney expressed her pride in crafting this limited-edition capsule, highlighting the fusion of fashion and sports within the collection. The away jersey embodies this blend with its elevated geometric print and vibrant colours, combining technical performance materials. McCartney emphasized the importance of enabling players and fans to express themselves both on and off the pitch through this bold collection.
For fans eager to own a piece, the collection will be available through Adidas’ e-commerce platform, official Arsenal club stores, Arsenal Direct, and select retailers.
