Adidas launches its FW24 London Tennis Collection featuring a range of apparel planned with comfort as the primary focus. The collection includes flawless material construction intended at assisting players’ concentration during key moments on the grass court.
To battle the heat, the collection comprises Adidas’ AEROREADY technology, which keeps away sweat, alongside the AIRCHILL technology in the AIRCHILL FreeLift T-Shirt Pro, helping in temperature regulation through purposefully placed mesh layers.
The material used in products like the Men’s Seamless AEROREADY FreeLift T-Shirt Pro and the Seamless AEROREADY FreeLift Polo Shirt Pro cuts distractions caused by rubbing, mainly in areas susceptible to high-intensity movement like below the arms. This is matched by open-hole areas in the fabric that improve breathability in zones vulnerable to sweat buildup, reducing possible irritation.
Stefanos Tsitsipas shared his enthusiasm for playing on grass and highlighted the significance of focus and movement during matches. While the collection majorly displays a pure-white colour scheme, elevated structures on choice pieces form darker shadows, echoing the diverse lighting conditions observed on a grass court during summer.
Planned to meet the demands of grass court tennis, the ensemble prioritises mobility with Adidas’ FreeLift Construction, which includes stretch areas below the arm for better flexibility.
The clothing collection also possesses sustainability, being partly made from recycled materials and presented in sizes XS-2XL for men and 2XS-2XL for women.
Debuting at the summer London tournaments, the ensemble will be worn by athletes such as Caroline Wozniacki, Xinyu Wang, Elina Svitolina, among others.
