Despite market conditions, a few apparel manufacturers are on the growth path and one such company is Bengaluru-based leading jeans manufacturer Wonderblues Apparels Pvt Ltd.
The company, known for premium products, is currently having a capacity of 1.8 lakh pieces per month and it will increase that capacity by 30 per cent soon and next year, it will be further extended by 50 per cent.
Overall Rs. 25 crore is expected to be invested in the expansion project.
Pratap Kumar, MD of the company told the reasons for the expansion to Apparel Resources, “It’s the norm of the market that after a downtrend, there will be an upward trend too, secondly our existing clients are increasing their presence in the retail market and towards growth trajectory so accordingly our business is also growing. At the same time, we are also entering into export business as we have covered the domestic market effectively.”
The company is in the process of delivering its first export shipment in the next few months to the Middle East and further, it is targeting buyers across the price spectrum to cater to the denim landscape deeply.
Aditya Bhadoria, Director of the company shared a strong strength of the organisation, “In close association with denim mills, we develop our own exclusive fabrics every season which helps us stand out compared to other jeans manufacturers.” Having majorly branded machines for production, the company also has an in-house washing facility.
With a positive outlook, Wonderblues is expecting 100 per cent growth by FY ’26 in its topline while the bottom line should also increase significantly.
