Guatemala’s Texpasa, a vertically integrated knitting mill, enhances its fabric finishing prowess with yet another new line from German textile machinery firm Brückner. By 2024, seven Brückner stenter frames will operate at Texpasa’s Michatoya plant. Originally a family business, Texpasa specialises in knitting, dyeing, and finishing various textiles for the apparel market. The new plant consolidates the original factory, and the stenters are being relocated to Palin with Brückner technicians’ support.
David Franco, Texpasa’s maintenance manager, lauds Brückner for their high-quality machines and services. The partnership dates back to 2007 when the first Brückner stenters were installed at Texpasa. Franco appreciates Brückner’s support during the relocation, emphasising their reliability as a service partner.
All Brückner stenters at Michatoya Industrial Park boast counter-construction, ensuring uniform air admission with precise heating and ventilation every 1.5 metres across the fabric web width. These stenters prioritise high drying performance and meticulous process control, tailored to fabric quality that’s crucial for Texpasa’s support of major sportswear and leisure brands.
Regina Brückner, CEO of Brückner, also appreciates their partnership with Texpasa and commends them as a prime example of aligning future investment, sustainability, and environmental protection.
