The Members of Parliament (MPs) wearing masks during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Rajya Sabha (upper house) and Lok Sabha (lower house) have direct connection with Noida-based well-known apparel export house Maharana of India.
The export house, exporting fashion masks to countries like Italy, Spain, US, UK and Canada, recently manufactured these masks for Indian Parliament.
Nikhil Thukral, MD of the company who is also ex-Niftian told Apparel Resources, “I got the prestigious opportunity to design masks for Parliament. It is a proud moment to see all ministers and MPs wearing masks made by us.”
Having embossed print (image of Parliament House), these masks of cotton fabric are simple and decent. Besides, these are washable and reusable.
The company has so far made 2,000 masks and the plan is to make more in future.
MP Supriya Sule appreciated the masks and posted an image on her Instagram account and said, “Thank you so much Speaker Hon. Om Birla Ji for the lovely masks.”
Founded by Lalit Thukral, who is also President, Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC), Maharana of India is mainly into export of fashion garments.
